The difference between silane coupling agent CFS-838 and CFS-302

1. Silane coupling agent CFS-838, this product is colorless and transparent liquid, easily soluble in various organic solvents, easy to hydrolyze and condense to form polysiloxane, easy to polymerize in the presence of overheating, light and peroxide.

2. CFS-302 is soluble in organic solvents, but acetone and carbon tetrachloride are not suitable as release agents, and are soluble in water. Hydrolysis in water, alkaline.

3. CFS-302 belongs to amino silane, mainly used for surface treatment of inorganic filling, such as calcium carbonate. It can also be used for surface treatment of glass fibers.

4. CFS-838 belongs to epoxy silane and is mainly used for surface treatment of reinforcing agent and surface treatment of inorganic fillers, such as talc, clay, quartz, aluminum hydroxide, mica, glass beads, wollastonite, white carbon black etc.
