Pigment Dispersing Agent (Solvent-based) Description

CFS-A25, is a 40% active ingredient polymeric dispersant in n-butyl acetate which can improve the dispersion and stability of pigments in liquid organic media. It is widely used in automotive coatings, industrial coatings, gravure inks, Inkjet inks, screen printing inks, architectural coatings, etc. It is the equivalent of SOLSPERSE 32500.

CFS-A25 can be used in solvent-based automotive coatings and industrial coatings.
CFS-A25 can be used in inkjet inks, screen printing inks and architectural coatings.

CFS-A25 is offered in 20kg and 180kg drums.

Pigment Dispersing Agent (Solvent-based) Storage

CFS-A25 should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place.
CFS-A25 has a shelf life of 12months.

Instructions:
CFS-A25 addition levels should be based on the surface area of the pigment/filler.
The dosage level is typically 2mg active dispersant per square meter of pigment surface area. This is simply the surface area divided by 5.

Usage:
CFS-A25 should be thoroughly blended with the mill base resin/solvent mixture before the addition of pigments.
