Ⅰ. Application of dimethyl silicone fluid in skin care cosmetics

Methyl silicone oil has been widely used in cosmetics, skin care products, care products and hair care products.

1. It is non-toxic, odorless and tasteless, does not affect the appearance and aroma of the final product, and will not cause irritation and allergy to the skin.

2. It has very good light pleasure and extensibility. The use of methyl silicone oils with medium viscosity in various skin care products can improve the extensibility of cosmetics to the skin and protect the skin.

3. It has good hydrophobicity and smoothness. Hair care products prepared with dimethyl silicone fluid, such as hair oil, hair cream, mousse, etc., can comb hair at any temperature into a desired hairstyle, and can effectively prevent external moisture infiltration or water evaporation imbalance.

4. It has good anti ultraviolet radiation performance. It will not oxidize and deteriorate under ultraviolet light and cause skin irritation, and will not be lost due to sea bath or sweating. It can effectively prevent the harm of ultraviolet light.

5. It has no irritation to the skin, high safety to the human body, and has certain curative effect on some skin diseases, such as sweating difficult eczema, neurodermatitis and occupational dermatitis.

6. It has good gas permeability and anti-static elimination. After rubbing the skin containing polysiloxane skin care cream, the static electricity of the skin is completely eliminated, and has obvious dust-proof effect. It has good air permeability. Even if a silicone film is formed on the skin, it will not affect the discharge of sweat and hinder skin breathing.

7. It is chemically stable and does not react with other cosmetic raw materials. Foundation cream with dimethyl silicone fluid can protect skin from pigment and solvent.

Ⅱ. Applications of dimethyl silicone fluid in automobiles

Methyl silicone oils are widely used inside/outside the automobile because of their viscosity temperature performance, wide viscosity range, thermal stability and high compressibility.

1. Automobile brake fluid based on methyl silicone oil with relatively low viscosity (20MPa · s).

2. The damping oil for automobile engine cooling fan has been put into practice, which can improve the performance of components, reduce resistance and wear, and prolong the service life of the system.

3. It can be used as glass fiber reinforcement and tackifier to improve the adhesion between glass fiber and resin, so as to significantly improve the mechanical properties of reinforced plastics. It is used for the production and maintenance of adhesive sealing materials for automobile windshield, door and window frame, rearview mirror, exhaust pipe and equipment vulnerable to water.
