For filling plastics: fillers can be surface pretreated or added directly into the resin, which can improve the dispersion and adhesion of fillers in the resin, improve the compatibility of inorganic fillers and resin, and improve the process performance and mechanical, electrical and weathering properties of filled plastics.
3. Used as sealing, bonding and coating tackifier: It can improve their adhesive strength, water resistance, weather resistance and other properties. Silane coupling agent can often solve the problem of long-term bonding of some materials is not firm. The principle of silane coupling agent as a tackifier is that it has two groups. One group can be combined with the bonded skeleton material. And the other group can be combined with polymer materials or adhesives, thus forming strong chemical bonds at the bonding interface, greatly improving the bonding strength.
