CFS-290 Cas 21142-29-0 [KBE503; Z-6036; Y-9936] is a methacryloyloxy silane, which has a methacryloyloxy functional group containing an unsaturated double bond structure and three hydrolyzable alkoxy groups (ethoxy) in its molecular structure, and this dual reactivity makes it possible to improve the bonding, adhesion and compatibility between inorganic materials (glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (thermosetting resins, plastics, elastomers) through a bidirectional chemical reaction with them. This dual reactivity allows it to improve the bonding, adhesion and compatibility between inorganic materials (glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (thermosetting resins, plastics, elastomers) through a two-way chemical reaction, thereby improving the mechanical properties of resin-based composites or improving the adhesive strength and water resistance of resin coatings. It can also be copolymerized with monomers such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, vinyl acetate, and styrene containing unsaturated double bonds, thus giving the copolymer moisture-curing and good adhesion and water resistance, etc. In different applications, it can be used as coupling agent, adhesion promoter, cross-linking agent, surface modifier of color filler, silicone modified graft copolymer monomer, etc.

Applications

CFS-290 [Cas 21142-29-0] improves the mechanical and electrical properties of glass-reinforced and inorganic filler-containing thermoset and thermoplastic resins, especially those cured by reactive free radical mechanism (such as unsaturated polyesters, polyurethanes and acrylates), peroxide-cured rubbers (EPR, EPDM, silicone rubber, etc.) and thermoplastic resins (including polyolefins and thermoplastic polyurethanes).

CFS-290 [Cas 21142-29-0] can significantly improve the dry and wet mechanical strength and electrical properties of inorganic filler-filled unsaturated polyester composites (such as cast or die-cast artificial quartzite, etc.).

It can be copolymerized with vinyl acetate, acrylic acid or methacrylic acid monomers to synthesize silane-modified polymers that can be cross-linked and cured at room temperature, which are widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealants to provide excellent adhesion and durability.
