CFS-243 N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane CAS 1760-24-3 [KH792, DAMO] is is a very representative silane coupling agent. It can be used to couple organic polymers and inorganic substances, used as a glass fiber finishing agent, used as a cross-linking agent and curing agent for silicone rubber and silicone resin, used as a textile finishing agent, and made into amino-modified silicone oil, etc.
I、Preparation process
Add 12 mol (721.2 g) ethylenediamine to the reaction kettle, press 1 mol (198.7 g) chloropropyltrimethoxysilane into the metering tank, raise the temperature of ethylenediamine to 120°C under 100 rpm stirring, add chloropropyltrimethoxysilane in the metering tank to ethylenediamine in the reaction kettle dropwise through the dropping funnel within 4 hours, and continue to keep warm under 120°C after the dropwise addition After the reaction for 2 hours, the reaction produced N(βaminoethyl)3aminopropyltrimethoxysilane and ethylenediamine hydrochloride, and then the temperature of the kettle was lowered to 80°C. Meanwhile, the water circulation vacuum pump was turned on to recover 8 mol (480.8 g) of ethylenediamine under vacuum at 0.08 MPa. After the recovery was completed, the temperature of the kettle was lowered to 40°C and the material in the kettle was introduced into the conical sinker for 4 hours of static stratification under normal pressure. After 4 hours of static stratification, the material in the settling kettle was separated from the lower layer of ethylenediamine hydrochloride 165.5 g and the upper layer of CFS-243 crude product 273.6 g. The upper crude product was distilled at 0.1 MPa to obtain CFS-243 finished product 195.2 g; The finished product of CFS-243 was 99.08% by GC, and the product quality yield was 98.2%.

2. mainly used to couple organic polymers and inorganic substances, so that the two chemical bonding synthesis as a whole, in order to improve the various physical and mechanical properties of the polymer, electrical properties, water resistance, aging resistance, etc., suitable for coupling polymers are thermosetting resins, such as epoxy, phenolic, polyurethane, melamine, nitrile phenolic; hot melt resins, such as polystyrene, PVC, polyamide; elastomeric polysulfide rubber, polyurethane rubber, etc.
3. mainly improve the performance of epoxy, phenolic, melamine, furan and other resin laminated materials, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyacrylic acid vinyl, silicone, polyamide, polycarbonate vinyl, polycyanoethylene is also effective.
4. To be used as glass fiber finishing agent, also widely used in glass beads, silica, talc, mica, clay, fly ash and other silica-containing substances.
