Silicone surfactant is a very important branch of surfactant. It not only has the temperature and weather resistance, dielectric property and biological compatibility of silicone products, but also has the characteristics of low surface tension and good wettability. One end of the silicone surface is silicone oil, and the other end is polyether. The two are bridged through allyl groups and other groups. By adjusting the length of silicone oil and polyether, various types of products are prepared. Silicone surfactant is widely used in polyurethane foam, textile finishing agent, crop protection, coating and personal care, and is a very important fine chemical product.

1. Polyurethane. PU hard foam is widely used in building exterior walls, refrigeration equipment, pipeline transportation and other scenes. As a thermal insulation material, it has such beneficial properties as light weight, low thermal conductivity, good heat resistance, aging resistance, easy adhesion with other substrates, and no melting entropy when burning. PU soft foam is mostly open cell type, with low density, good elastic recovery, sound absorption, breathability, thermal insulation and other properties.

2. Textile. Compared with other silicone finishing agents, block silicone oil has the characteristics of self emulsification and non bleaching oil. After being used on synthetic fibers, especially on fluff cloth, such as coral wool, non down pile, loop cut pile and plush, the handle of block silicone oil is far superior to other finishing agents.

3. Crop protection. Organosilicon synergists can improve the characteristics of spray solutions, and improve the targeting, permeability or target protection of effective ingredients. Pesticide synergists can be added in the preparation or mixed with other agricultural chemicals.

4. Paint. Organic silicon additives can improve the production process of coatings, maintain the storage stability of coatings, improve their construction technology, improve product quality, and endow coatings with some special functions. It has become an indispensable component in coatings. The addition of silicone leveling agent can greatly improve the defects of coatings.

5. Personal care. In cosmetics, polyether silicone oil can be used as a conditioner to improve the carding property of hair, and also has the effect of dust prevention and anti-static. In addition, it also has the function of stabilizing foam, making the skin smoother and softer.
