CFS-553 Methyltrimethoxysilane MTMS is a trifunctional organosilane coupling agent. This is because all three of its alkoxy groups are capable of hydrolysis. In addition, it contains a methyl group, which gives the product its organic properties. Like other silane coupling agents, its function is to chemically combine two materials with different properties by relying on its own two reactive functional groups, and thus it is mostly used in the composite material industry. CFS-553 is mainly used for water-repellent treatment of glass fiber surface and surface treatment of plastic laminated products. The silane coupling agent is added to the product at an amount of only 0.5% to 4%. It can greatly improve the heat deflection temperature of the products, improve the mechanical properties, electrical properties and processing properties of the products. Therefore, it is an important auxiliary in aviation, aerospace, military, medicine and health, civil and other aspects, and has great market potential.
